<p><strong>How Women Can <a  href="http://www.6packofabs.net/sixpack/getsixpack">Get Six Pack</a> Abs, Even After 30</strong></p>
<p>Many women complain that it&#8217;s a lot harder after you turn 30 to get what we call <a  href="http://www.6packofabs.net/sixpack/sixpackabs">Six Pack Abs</a>.</p>
<p>First you need to determine where you are.  If you have let&#8217;s say 28% body fat just know that your six pack abs won&#8217;t be visible until you get your body fat down. For women it is most likely in the lower teens.</p>
<p>What types of food do I need to be eating?</p>
<p>You should be eating lots of lean proteins like chicken, egg whites, and fish. Stay away from processed meats because they will affect your fat loss progress.  Also, I teach women what I call 5 Star Foods, eating these foods will help in achieving your six pack abs.  Foods are not all created equal so if you want the best results then you have to put the best fat-burning foods in your body.  The breakdown of your foods is also important.  Don&#8217;t make the mistake of eliminating all your complex carbohydrates either as it will impair your metabolism, but you will need to modify your intake.  Every woman is different when putting this type of program together.</p>
<p>What types of exercise should I be doing?</p>
<p>I recommend fat-burning workouts. Doing workouts that are intense and lifting enough weight that is challenging is key.</p>
<p>What about cardio?</p>
<p>This is dependent on how much body fat you have. Some women will have to do more in order to get the results they want.  Don&#8217;t make the mistake of just walking, this will not achieve those six pack abs.<br /> You need to do interval cardio to really get your body fat down and to start seeing those abs.</p>
<p>How long will it take depends on where you are.  From there, you can put together a plan of action.<br /> Diet is crucial in sculpting those abs. Yes, you will have to be more disciplined in your eating. But, the good thing is that you can actually have a small treat every week while you begin your transformation.</p>
<p>You must be patient in the process and focus on your goal and don&#8217;t think just because you&#8217;re over 30 that you can&#8217;t accomplish this..because you can. The mind is actually the most important part in this process as it controls everything you do from exercising and eating exactly how you need to.</p>
<p>My whole focus in working with women is re-conditioning their mind to get the body they want.<br /> For example, I could give you the best six pack abs diet and exercise program but if you don&#8217;t have the right &quot;brain software&quot;, then you will fail to get the results you want so keep this in mind when you are setting your fitness goals.</p>

<p>Step 1: Nutrition</p>
<p>This  is the single most important part of the puzzle, hands down. You can  have the most impressive set of abs, but if they&#8217;re covered with a layer  of fat, you won&#8217;t see them! Break up your day with 5 or 6 mini-meals  because this jump starts your metabolism.</p>

<p>Start off by laying on your back with your hands under your buttocks. Lift your legs so they are vertical. Contract your abs so your midsection is tense.</p>
<p>Then, lower 1 leg so your foot is a few inches from the ground. Hold there for about 1 second, then return that leg to the starting position. Alternate which leg you lower.</p>
<p>Try a reps and really try to feel the lower abs working.</p>
<p>2. Supine Reverse Crunches</p>
<p>Start off by laying on your back with your hands under your buttocks. Lift your legs so they are vertical, then bend your knees at a 90 degree angle. Contract your abs so your midsection is tense.</p>
<p>Keeping your knees bent at the same angle, slowly lower them until the back of your feet are a few inches above the ground. Then, bring your knees up towards your chest and really squeeze your abs while doing this.</p>
<p>Repeat.</p>
<p>3. Leg Lifts</p>
<p>Start off by laying on your back with your hands under your buttocks. Lift your legs so they are vertical.</p>
<p>Contract your midsection by engaging the upper abs.</p>
<p>Then, lower both legs so that the back of your feet are right above the ground. After holding that position for a few second, return your legs to the vertical position.</p>
<p>Repeat.</p>

<p>There have been many studies and reports about how our society as a whole has grown heavier and chubbier. The stomach, in particular, has become a trouble spot for many people. Abdominal exercise equipment can tone and shape your muscles, but the only way to loose the fat is to consume more calories than you take in. Exercise will help you do this, but it is a total body process, not targeted to certain areas.</p>
<p>It is also important to note, that for many people, a flat stomach is not in their genetics, even if they are in good physical shape. Some stomachs have a small curve, and all the crunches in the world won&#8217;t change that. However, the exercises and equipment discussed below will help tone, strengthen and define your abdominal muscles.</p>
<p>Abdominal Exercises &amp; Equipment</p>
<p>There are many different types of ab exercisers and equipment. One of the most effective of these, the Roman Chair, is not strictly an ab machine. It is a common piece of equipment found at the gym but it can be used to perform a very effective ab exercise. The Roman Chair is a somewhat taller machine with two stationary, parallel arms and a straight, padded back. There is nothing to sit on.</p>
<p>When working on abs, the best way to use this piece of equipment is to place your forearms flat on each armrest, with your back firmly against the padding. You should have the Roman Chair set high enough that your legs dangle straight down when you are in position. Then slowly bring your knees toward your chest as far as you can go and hold for a few seconds before extending them to the beginning position. Bring your right elbow in contact with your left knee. Then alternate with the opposite knee and elbow and repeat. You should feel it in your sides and abs.</p>
<p>Leg Crunches are similar to the Bicycle, but with crunches, your torso does most of the movement. Lie on the mat again with your lower back pressed flat. Place your hands at your sides or by your head, whichever is more comfortable. Be sure not to put any pressure on your arms or you will take away from the effectiveness of the exercise.</p>
<p>Lift your legs straight up above your head and bend your knees slightly. Squeeze your abdominal muscles and then lift your torso up off the mat toward your knees. Return to the original position with your back flat on the mat. Relax your abdominal muscles and then repeat. Remember to breathe during the exercise.</p>
<p>Crunches can also be done on an exercise ball and many feel it is more effective than standard crunches. You sit on the ball and place your feet on the floor about a foot apart. <p>You can start by riding the bicycle around your neighborhood. Then, when you are already used to this, you can take a bicycle road trip on the main roads or for long trips. When you are more adept at it, you can even use your bicycle going up the mountain. It will be a better exercise for you.</p>

<p>There is also the stationary bike if you are the indoors type and you don&#8217;t want to burn yourself outside. The stationary bike can be found in most gyms and fitness centers. If you have the money, you can just enroll in these centers and you won&#8217;t need to buy a bike anymore.</p>
<p>If you do not have the funds to spend for a gym enrollment or for the bike to go around your suburb, you can always do imaginary bicycle training at home. When we say imaginary, this means that you don&#8217;t really have a bicycle with you. To get the same exercise effect, you will have to mimic the movements that you will have done when you are riding the bike. Of course, your movements should be correct if you want to achieve the same results like if you are riding the bike. Below are the steps in achieving your goal of getting trim abs with the bicycle exercise.</p>
<p>If You Don&#8217;t Have A Bike</p>
<p>First, you have got to find yourself a clean floor where you can lie down. Prepare a floor mat or any foam that you can lie on while exercising. If it is hard wood and marble, all the more that you should have a floor mat with you. This will protect your back from injury while you are performing the exercise.</p>
<p>To make it less boring, you can also do the exercise with music playing. Treat it as some kind of aerobics session that you can share with other people. Although this is an exercise that you can do yourself, you can also get your friends to join in the training. It is after all more fun to have more people doing things together.</p>
<p>Positions</p>
<p>Now for the positions. You must lie down on the floor and place your fingers at the back of your head. This step will provide you with the acceleration you need to start off the exercise. As with riding the bike, this position is similar to holding the rod to maneuver your bike. Afterward, you can maneuver your head from left to right like what you are doing with the bike.</p>
<p>While lying down with your hands at the back of your head, you must pull your knees towards your chest and then, lift your shoulder blades away from the floor without lifting your neck. In this step, you will be experiencing a bit of pressure on your abs because of the force you&#8217;ve created by nearly interconnecting your knees and elbows. The middle part of your abs will be &quot;worked out&quot; at this point, toning your muscles in that area and hopefully reducing the fat.</p>
<p>Movement</p>
<p>After this, you must straighten your right leg through the air and then move it in a circular motion like when you are riding the bike. You will bike as if you have an imaginary pedal above you. Do the same with your left alternately. You will basically be kicking the air above you. Doing this will help you put more pressure on your abs. This is especially true if you are doing the maneuvering as you are bicycling. That will be two exercise pressure on your abs.</p>
